Serbian City Club had the pleasure of hosting Lazar Džamić, University Lecturer and author as part of the 16th annual Serbian Month in Great Britain
During the discussion we explored the ethics in digital media and marketing reflecting on “weaponization” of social science, data collection and manipulation, environmental pollution, and consumerism. We further discussed how (mis)trust of media shapes our views and what impact it has on wider social interactions, and how are different generations impacted.
We further explored whether the emergence of AI has any impact on this debate, and what the UK can learn from Serbia and vice versa.
