Dusica Desnica
Born in Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, obtained B.A. with Honours in Politics & East European Studies, University College London (UCL). Worked as a Public Relations Officer at Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and as a Human Resources and Communications Officer at the Metropolitan Police Service, London. In 2008 returned to Serbia, as a Project Manager, to take a lead role at Delta Humanitarian Foundation, part of Delta Holding Group. Member of Serbian City Club since 2009.

Tatjana Doslov
Born in Belgrade, Serbian and Australian nationality. UTS Alumni, obtained MBA in Strategic Management & Public Relations from University of Technology Sydney, Australia (2007). Holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing and Information Technology from Edith Cowan University (2002), Perth Australia. Started her career in market analyst and consumer researcher roles, followed by more senior functions in strategic insights and brand marketing. Worked across multinational companies: Petronas, Australian Pipeline Trust, British American Tobacco, Japan Tobacco International, Gallaher UK, and The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC). Moved to Belgrade from London in 2011 and currently working as a Marketing Activation Manager in TCCC in Serbia. Member of Serbian City Club since 2008.

Marko Dubocanin
Born in Belgrade, Serbia. Obtained a Master degree in investment banking at the Henley Business School (ICMA), University of Reading, UK. In 2008 he graduated in the field of banking, insurance and finance on the Belgrade Banking Academy, Serbia. Currently working as a Head of Investment Research in Atlas Capital Financial Services in Cyprus. For this position he holds portfolio management license authorized by CySEC. Prior to this position Marko gained a 2 year experience in real estate sector, working as an Investment Manager in Atlas Group in Serbia. Member of Serbian City Club since 2008.

Like her contemporaries Pat McGrath and Kevyn Aucoin, Issidora is a maestro of maquillage. Born in today’s Serbia and having studied classical conducting, she came to London in the early 1990s and became fascinated by the British love of history.

Vladimir Jelacic
Serbian nationality, Chevening alumni, in 2007 obtained LLM with Distinction in banking and finance at the University of London where he received several academic excellence awards including the Dean’s Award and the Ross Cranston Prize for the best banking law student. Holds a BSc degree in Law from the University of Belgrade. Prior to academic experience in London, Vladimir worked as the assistant to the Governor of the National bank of Serbia, during which time he managed several business development projects. Since December 2007 Vladimir took on the lead role in developing the financial stability function at the Serbian central bank. He authored the 2007 and 2008 editions of the Serbian Financial Stability Reports and was involved in planning crisis management strategies and drafting relevant financial stability regulation. Member of Serbian City Club since 2007.

Milica Jovanovic
Born in Belgrade, grew up in London, holds both Serbian and British citizenships. Obtained a BA in Politics and East European Studies at University College London (UCL) and returned to Serbia to work in the Governor’s Office at the National Bank of Serbia as the Governor’s assistant from 2007-2009. Completed MSc in International Public Policy at University College London (UCL) in 2010, after which she returned once again to the National Bank to work on an Investor Relations Project. In 2011 worked as an analyst at Toscafund hedge fund in London. Currently working as a business strategy analyst at Philip Morris in Serbia since January 2012, facilitated by Serbian City Club. Member of Serbian City Club since 2009.

Branka Margan

Branka Margan obtained an MA in Serbian literature at the University of Belgrade Philology faculty. After graduating, she developed her career in two parallel directions: within the advertising and public relations field, and teaching Serbian language and literature. Branka has more than ten years of professional experience, which includes working in renowned international and Serbian companies, such as Ogilvy and Mather, Profile, Europapress, Verano group etc. A member of the Independent Journalists` Association of Serbia (NUNS) since 2005, Branka is very interested in print media and works as an associate journalist for various newspapers and magazines: Elle, Sensa, Bankar etc, writing mainly about socio-cultural topics. Serbian City Club member since 2010.

Maja Milatovic-Ovadia

Maja Milatovic-Ovadia grew up in Belgrade. After graduating from the Academy of Dramatic Arts at the University of Arts in Belgrade with an honours degree in Theatre and Radio Directing, she completed an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice at The Central School of Speech and Drama. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD at Kent University. Maja directed over twenty theatre shows with notably diverse repertoire- ranging from doll shows and experimental texts developed in corporation with informal troupes, to contemporary classics and Serbian texts presented on the national theatres’ scenes. In addition, she directed three operas, one in Gudaca Sv. Djordja’s production, and two for the Tete a tete- contemporary opera festival in London. Among other things, Maja works as an associate and a leader of the theatre project for the British NGO- Most Mira. She was awarded A.G. Leventis Foundation scholarship. Maja has been a member of Serbian City Club since 2011.

Vladan Mutavdzic
Serbian nationality, president of Sainsbury Management Fellowship 2006-2008, MBA INSEAD 2000, MEng Electical/Electronic Engineering 1992 from Imperial College, London. Professional experience spanning 15 years covering strategy, business development and finance in the technology sector having worked amongst others for Philips Consumer Electronics and Nokia Oy. Dan was also the exclusive distributor for the largest European supplier of eAuctions in the UK, prior to returning to Serbia where he worked for one of the leading financial advisory companies in the region advising on privatisations and private transactions. Currently, managing director of Marlborough Hill Ltd, working on M&A transactions and Debt Advisory in Serbia and the UK. Member of Serbian City Club since 2004.

Masha Perovic
Born in Belgrade, obtained MA in Sustainable Environmental Management, Middlesex University, London and previously BA Law with Russian language at Sussex University, Brighton. Worked as Project Officer for the European Council on Refugees and Exiles and as a volunteer in numerous environmental organisations. Returned to Serbia in 2011 and currently working as a Regional Communication Manager at International Union for Conservation of Nature. Member of Serbian City Club since 2011.

Serbian nationality, Chevening Alumni, obtained MSc in Public Services Policy and Management from King’s College (School of Social Science and Policy, Department of Management) University of London. Holds a BSc in Librarianship and Information Science from the University of Belgrade. Professional experience spanning 8 years includes Executive Directorship of the Foreign Investors Council Serbia, Chief of Deputy Prime Minister’s Cabinet at the Government of Republic of Serbia, Chief of Minister’s Cabinet at the Ministry of Finance and a Personal Assistant to the Governor at the National Bank of Serbia. Milorad Plavsic
Serbian nationality, as of September 2013 lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Milorad obtained MSc Agricultural Economics from the University of Reading, MA International Relations from the University of Westminster, holds a BEng Agriculture from the University of Novi Sad. Previous work experience includes working at the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Water Management of Serbia. Prior to that, he completed internships within UN FAO, EcoSecurities, Carbon Disclosure Project. Member of Serbian City Club since 2008.

Milos Popovic
Born in Belgrade, Serbia. Obtained MSc degree in 2009 in International Securities, Investment and Banking at the Henley Business School (ICMA Centre), University of Reading in the United Kingdom. Holds professional qualifications in the form of ICMA International Fixed Income and Derivatives (IFID) Certificate and Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma (a leading globally-recognised postgraduate finance qualification which covers the areas of securities, investment, compliance, derivatives, corporate finance and operations). Upon return to his home country, spent over three years (from September 2009 – October 2012) working as a close aide to the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), as a Governor’s Assistant for Economic Affairs. Member of the Working Group on the establishment of the Development Bank of Serbia (from March 2011 to August 2012). From September 2013, employed as an Associate Expert at Center for Advanced Economic Studies (CEVES). Member of Serbian City Club since 2008.

Aleksandar Randjelovic
Born in Belgrade, Serbia. As a scholarship student obtained MSc in International Business Economics at Westminster Business School, London, UK. Holds B.A. in Management from Faculty of Management BK, Belgrade, Serbia. Professional experience spanning over ten years mostly gained in banking and leasing industry. Started as a loan officer at ProCredit bank followed by senior positions and experience in the leasing arm of ProCredit Bank (ProCredit Leasing). Worked as a head of small business department at Credit Agricole Serbia and Komercijalana banka (Belgrade branch), currently working as an Investment Analyst at Finance in Motion, an alternative asset management firm exclusively focused on development finance. Svetislav Savic

Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Serbian citizen. Worked as a translator for the English language at the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina between 1997-2001 after which he moved to Belgrade. In Belgrade, worked as a technical editor for Belgrade book (Beogradska knjiga) publishing house for several years and as a technical secretary at Paraolympic Committee of Serbia. Meanwhile he started his own business in the field of web design, design and online businesses he was engaged in for many years. Lives in the United Kingdom. Serbian City Club since 2012.
