„A Coffee with…“ Maya Barčot, actress – event recording

Serbian City Club had the pleasure of hosting Maya Barčot, an actress, on Saturday 9th October 2021.

During the discussion we explored how the movie industry has changed and evolved over the last twenty-odd years, the opportunities that pandemic created, and can you feel in the language that is not your mother tongue, when acting. We also reflected on identity and belonging, how Serbian actors can at times be pigeonholed, and how Maya’s great-grandparents, some of the first actors in Serbia, influenced her career choices.
