ELTA Conference in Belgrade, May 7-9, 2010
ELTA, English Language Teachers' Association of Serbia is delighted to announce that the next year's Conference, the eighth in a highly successful series of ELTA events, will take place in Belgrade, Serbia from May 7-9, 2010.
The Conference will bear the title: Technology mediated education - necessity or luxury?
ELTA is honoured to announce that one of the keynote speakers will be Herbert Puchta, Gavin Dudeney and Marjorie Rosenberg
Technology has become an integral component of our life. It is hard to imagine a segment of our everyday lives that is not linked with technology in one way or another. It goes without saying how quickly technology has found its way into education. There is barely a teacher who does not use it or who does not ask students to rely on it for their learning. What would education be like without technology? Is there any area of education in which technology should not be used? When do we and our students have enough of technology?
If you have experimented in this field, if you have an answer to any questions related to technology, if you have managed to "humanise" technology in the classroom, or if you simply want to hear what others have
to say regarding this issue, feel welcome to the 8th ELTA IATEFL Conference.
Please note that the Call for Papers 2010 is now up and running here http://www.elta.org.rs/conferences/speaker-proposal-form.html
if you are interested in presenting at the Conference, please apply by 10th March 2010 by completing the Speaker Proposal Form.
ELTA Conference is supported by the British Council, US Embassy, Ministry of Education in Serbia and a number of reputed ELT publishers.
ELTA invites you to join us!
