Azbukum Serbian Language Course Introduction Evening – Weds, 11th Sep 2019

On 11th September 2019, the Round Table has the pleasure of hosting an introduction to the Azbukum Serbian Language Course at GCSE Foundation and Higher Level and A level, for pupils from 12 to 18 years of age. The course will be taught over one academic year from 21st September 2019 at the Bishop Nikolaj Community Centre for 3 hours on Saturdays during term time.

The course has been designed by the Azbukum Centre (www.azbukum.edu.rs), an organisation based in Novi Sad and Belgrade which has been teaching Serbian as a foreign language to adults and young people since 1995. Azbukum courses were accredited by the Serbian Ministry of Education in 2017 and correspond to the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages (ECFRL), so their qualifications are recognised not only in Serbia but in Europe and beyond. The B2 (A Level equivalent) qualification can be used to show proficiency in Serbian required for entry to study at a university in Serbia.

Join us for this unique opportunity to find out about this first time offer which includes a recognised qualification at the end of the course, and an access to on-line platform. We encourage parents to bring their children to this event, as it will be an opportunity to meet with the other course participants.

The event will start at 6:30pm and will be hosted by Olga Stanojlovic and Milos Stefanovic (Round Table working group for Serbian Language) with one of our Azbukum trained and highly experienced teachers, Vera Jevtic, providing an overview of the course followed by a Q&A.

RSVP IS REQUIRED! Please email  natasha.kocsis@serbiancityclub.org to register for the event.
